Meet the faces behind Team Viperizer!

Ryan Venezie, our owner, is the reason we're all here!  With overseeing orders made all over the globe, Ryan is a pretty busy guy.  While you may not interact with him directly, Ryan is always behind the scenes, working to make Viperizer Racing a success. 

Ryan was born and raised in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania.  In 2003, he attained a Business Management degree from University of Pittsburgh.  In more recent years, he has been running and operating Viperizer Racing out of his hometown since 2014. 

Ryan currently resides in the area with his wife, Amanda (our Accountant), and their three sons.  In his spare time, he coaches baseball and football for the 9 to 11-year-old age group.  When he's not working or coaching, he enjoys "TV, lots of TV."

One of Ryan's favorite memories since owning Viperizer Racing was his first trip to Bristol, Tennessee for the Eastern Conference Finals.  He particularly enjoyed experiencing all of the sights, sounds and people for the first time.

Staff Spotlight: Amanda Venezie

Meet the faces behind Team Viperizer!

Without our accountant, Amanda Venezie, faithfully crunching numbers behind the scenes, Viperizer Racing simply would not be!  Amanda's duties range from creating budgets to calculating expenses, and everything in between!  While you may not interact with Amanda directly, her role with Viperizer Racing is very critical.

Amanda was born and raised in Ellwood City.  She graduated from Lincoln High School in 2002 and attained her bachelor's degree in Marketing & Human Resources from IUP in 2006.  

Amanda currently resides in the area with her husband, Ryan (the owner of Viperizer Racing), and their three sons.  In her spare time, she enjoys running, hanging out with family, and watching her boys play football.  

Amanda has been a part of Team Viperizer since the beginning of our ownership, which came about in 2014.  Of all the enjoyable aspects of working for Viperizer Racing, she most appreciates meeting new racers.  She also particularly enjoyed experiencing Bristol for the first time, noting that hearing the start of the engines each morning was like an alarm clock!

My Meme (Linda Weeks) has been racing since she was little and then when I turned 8, I started racing. What is your favorite thing about racing? I get to meet new people that are really nice and sweet, like my friend Autumn. We talk every day. What is your favorite track to race on?  SGMP What is one word that describes you best? Lightning McQueen What sets you apart from other racers? The way I think about things. Most people get mad when they lose. I just say I'll get them next time. Outgoing What sets you apart from other racers? My good sportsmanship and always being happy What are some of your racing accomplishments? 2018 -Placed as track champion at St. Thomas Raceway -Made it to the third round at IHRA Summit World Finals in Memphis, Tennessee -Placed top 10 in the entire junior division 2017 -Won one points race -Three number one qualifiers -Made rounds normally to quarter and semi-finals 2016 -Made rounds despite many car troubles 2015 -Won first Jr. dragster Pro Tree race -Won a race and had many number one qualifiers 2014 -Won many number one qualifiers -Was in finals for a Wally 2 times 2013 -Set the best lighting time at my track in first year of racing with a perfect light of .0000 What are your goals for this season? I went to watch my step dad race and I saw the jr dragsters go down the track and I really wanted to do that so we went out and started looking and bought one in Ohio. I love it. Drag racing is awesome. What is your favorite thing about racing? Doing burn outs, learning about racing, meeting new friends, seeing the win light come on on my side, and when it doesn't, figuring out what we can do as a team to improve and learn What is your favorite track to race on?  St. Thomas Dragway and Lancaster Dragway What is one word that describes you best? Cool What sets you apart from other racers? I work hard on and off the track. I go and talk to older drivers to learn from them. What are some of your racing accomplishments? 2018 -Finished 5th at Lancaster and went down to the team race in Pittsburgh 2017 -5th in points at Cayuga Dragway -8th in points at Lancaster Dragway 2016 -2nd in points at Cayuga Dragway What are your goals for this season?
