All About Emily
How long have you been racing?
This is my third year.My Grandfather was a drag racer, and my Father followed in his footsteps, and has been racing since the age of 16. My other Grandpa raced round track, and was the Track Champion several times. Racing has always been a big part of my family. When my Dad discovered the Junior Dragster program at Thornhill Dragway, he bought me a car and I've been in love with the sport ever since.
What is your favorite thing about racing?
My favorite thing about drag racing is getting to spend
time with my family and friends doing what we love.
What is your favorite track to race on?
Thornhill Dragway
What is one word that describes you best?
Confident
What sets you apart from other racers?
I consider failures as an opportunity to learn and grow. I enjoy challenging myself, and am constantly looking for ways to improve. I do not give up easily, and will continue to try to accomplish my goals. 
What are some of your racing accomplishments?
2018 -Five time runner-up at Thornhill Dragway -Two time runner-up at Edgewater Sports Park 2017 -Two time winner at Thornhill Dragway -First female to win the "Junior Dragster Track Championship" Points Competition at Thornhill Dragstrip 2016 -Winner at Thornhill Dragway -Two time runner up at Thornhill Dragway -"Rookie of the Year" runner-up at Thornhill Dragstrip
What are your goals for this season?
My goals for this season are to practice properly driving at the finish line to prevent breaking out, and to travel to other race tracks.
What other activities do you enjoy outside of racing?
Art, sewing, quilting, singing in my parish choir, reading,
competing in pageants, and hanging out with friends.
