All About Samuel
How long have you been racing?
This will be my 2nd year.
How did you get into Jr Dragster?
Most of my family bracket raced. I am the 1st in a Jr. though.
What is your favorite thing about racing?
All of the friends I have made at different tracks
What is your favorite track to race on?
That's tough but probably Lucas Oil in Indy. That's where all of the big stars race.
What is one word that describes you best?
Fun
What sets you apart from other racers?
I have a love for sportsmanship. I am new to the sport, and a lot of the "veteran" kids helped me. So I love to help the new racers as well.
What are some of your racing accomplishments?
-2017 Rookie of the Year at Brown County Dragway
-Won 2nd race ever -Went on to win the next 3 in a row -Total of 9 races won and 5 r/u finishes at Brown County -My greatest accomplishment was competing in the Jr. Nationals at Muncie Dragway. I won my age group, then made it to the final 8 out of over 200 racers.
What are your goals for this season?
To try to be a points champ at 2 separate tracks. But mainly to have fun and meet more friends.
What other activities do you enjoy outside of racing?
Soccer, slot car racing in the off season, fishing, overall being outside
